CHOOSING THE BEST WINES

We are located in Valpolicella, which is the Amarone area, as well as the homeland of great wines. Here there are the great wine cellars and beautiful vineyards that frame wonderful and picturesque places. Valpolicella, Ripasso, Recioto but also Lugana, Soave and Passito, all produced in this area very close to Lake Garda. If you have already chosen the menu for your wedding banquet, now you just need to select the wine to pair it with. White or red wine? Light or full-bodied wine? And how many bottles do you estimate? If it seems impossible to satisfy the tastes of all your wedding guests, don't worry: it's hard to go wrong when you can trust the experience of our sommeliers. Borgo Antico offers a selection of 1300 labels of the Wine Spectator's multi-awarded wine list. Since you are welcomed by the Tommasi family, you can also choose from all the great Tommasi Family Estates wines. Take your pick!

The wedding pool party always has something special about it. The special lighting and decorations create a magical, fairy-tale atmosphere. Villa Quaranta, with its large thermal swimming pool surrounded by a centuries-old park, offers a perfect venue for such an exciting celebration.

The little Romanesque church inside Villa Quaranta is ideal for those who choose the Christian Wedding ceremony, in a timeless, intimate and touching atmosphere. Historical frescoes, trussed ceiling that gives the feeling of touching the sky: to enter the church, you walk along the paths of the multicoloured church courtyard, which is distinguished by the sound of bells of the bell tower dating back to 1200 AD. A wonderful location with seventeenth-century charm, linear in its decorations and forms.

For civil weddings that you would like to celebrate in the midst of greenery, we will accompany you in organising a ceremony in our ancient park, surrounded by flowers and evergreen plants for a magnificent open-air setting.
